Three-Day Rangla Punjab Festival Concludes in Amritsar with Grand Cultural Showcase

The three-day Rangla Punjab Festival organized by the Tourism and Cultural Affairs Department of the Punjab Government concluded on a grand note at Ranjit Avenue Ground in Amritsar.

The vibrant festival celebrated Punjab, Punjabi language, and Punjabi identity while promoting the state’s rich cultural heritage, lifestyle, and traditional cuisine at a global level. Thousands of visitors attended the event over three days, enjoying a colorful display of art, music, food, and folk traditions.

The closing ceremony featured electrifying performances by renowned Punjabi artists including Manmohan Waris, Jaspinder Narula, and Baani Sandhu, who enthralled the audience with their popular songs. A special drone show illuminated the evening sky, portraying Punjab’s rich cultural legacy and heroic history through stunning visuals.

Advisor to the Tourism and Cultural Affairs Department, Deepak Bali, attended the closing ceremony as the chief guest. He stated that the festival successfully showcased Punjab’s heritage, traditions, and cuisine on a global platform. He emphasized that Punjabi culture is among the most vibrant and richest in the world, known for its traditional arts, folk dances like Bhangra and Giddha, hospitality, and community spirit.

Bali further highlighted that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab Government is making dedicated efforts to preserve and promote the state’s cultural heritage. Such festivals are being organized across the state to reconnect the younger generation with Punjab’s glorious traditions.

Batala MLA Aman Sher Singh Shery Kalsi also praised the initiative, stating that the festival beautifully presented Punjab’s culture and lifestyle and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to reviving the spirit of “Rangla Punjab.”

The festival also featured a vibrant craft bazaar and exhibitions where visitors shopped enthusiastically. A food court with 30 stalls offered a wide variety of traditional Punjabi dishes along with other cuisines. Special amusement rides were arranged for children, while various government departments set up stalls to spread awareness about public welfare schemes.

The event concluded with a special felicitation ceremony honoring guests, artists, and individuals who contributed to the festival’s success.

With overwhelming public participation and cultural grandeur, the Rangla Punjab Festival marked another milestone in strengthening Punjab’s tourism and cultural identity.
