A shocking car accident in Jibhi was captured on CCTV, showing a terrifying moment as a vehicle lost control and plunged down a hillside.
The incident occurred on Sunday evening around 5 PM in the Banjar subdivision of Kullu district. A Delhi-registered car reportedly went out of control and rolled down from an upper road to a lower one. CCTV footage revealed that the car flipped multiple times at high speed, even bouncing off one road before crashing onto another below.
During the हादसा, a woman was thrown out of the vehicle and landed on the hillside, while the rest of the tourist family, including two young children, remained trapped inside the wrecked car on the lower road.
Eyewitnesses reported hearing loud cries and calls for help, especially from one of the children trapped among the debris. A local resident nearby quickly rushed to the spot and began rescue efforts. With the help of other locals, all injured passengers were safely pulled out and rushed to Banjar hospital for treatment.
Fortunately, despite the severity of the accident, there were no fatalities, and all victims sustained only minor injuries.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident. Authorities have also advised drivers to exercise extra caution while driving in hilly areas, where sharp turns and steep slopes can pose serious risks.
