Shahpur MLA Reviews Horticulture Schemes, Inspects ₹25 Lakh Plant Health Clinic

Shahpur MLA Reviews Plant Health Clinic Work

A crucial review meeting was held early this morning at the Horticulture Department Farm House in Jhular under Shahpur Assembly constituency. Shahpur MLA and Himachal Pradesh Government Deputy Chief Whip Keval Singh Pathania was specially present at the meeting.

During the session, various horticulture schemes being implemented in the region were reviewed in detail. The MLA also inspected the under-construction Plant Health Clinic being built at an estimated cost of ₹25 lakh.

Pathania directed officials to ensure that the construction of the Plant Health Clinic is completed before March 10 so that it can be inaugurated on time and its benefits made available to farmers and orchardists without delay. He emphasized that the clinic will play a vital role in providing guidance related to crop diseases, pest control, and modern agricultural techniques.

The Deputy Chief Whip instructed officers to spend more time in the field to ensure farmers receive timely technical advice and proper support. He reiterated that despite limited resources, the state government remains committed to effectively implementing welfare schemes, ensuring that benefits reach the last eligible beneficiary.

Holding the review meeting in the fields early in the morning reflected the ground-level approach and commitment of the public representative toward farmers. Local farmers and orchardists appreciated the initiative.

Deputy Director of Horticulture Dr. Alaksh Pathania welcomed the MLA and provided detailed information about departmental schemes, assuring strict compliance with the given directions.

Several dignitaries and officials, including former CMO Dr. Sushil Sharma, former Chief Engineer Jal Shakti Suresh Mahajan, former Nagar Panchayat Shahpur Chairperson Usha Sharma, Vice Chairperson Vijay Guleria, councillors, advisors, horticulture and agriculture officers, farmers, and orchardists were also present.
