Rangreta Community Leaders Declare Nishane Khalsa as Central Hub in Punjab

Rangreta Leaders Back Nishane Khalsa HQ

Leaders representing various organizations of the Rangreta community held a joint meeting at the headquarters of Dashmesh Tarna Dal located at Nishane Khalsa, Chatiwind Lehal in Punjab. The meeting was presided over by Jathedar Baba Major Singh Sodhi and began at 10 AM with participation from social and political representatives active in Scheduled Caste constituencies.

During the meeting, Jathedar Joga Singh Wadala proposed a resolution to declare the headquarters of Nishane Khalsa Chatiwind Lehal as the central guiding body for the Rangreta community and its associated organizations. The proposal received unanimous support from leaders and social activists present at the gathering.

Speakers emphasized the need to provide proper leadership and direction to different caste-based sections within the community. They recommended recognizing Dashmesh Tarna Dal’s headquarters as the political and religious capital for Rangreta leaders in Punjab.

A key decision taken during the meeting was to ensure that SC leaders seeking political positions and election tickets in Punjab should be routed through the Dashmesh Tarna Dal quota. Leaders also urged national and regional political parties to consider announcing candidates for 117 Assembly constituencies, 13 Lok Sabha seats, and 7 Rajya Sabha seats through the central leadership at Nishane Khalsa under the guidance of Baba Major Singh Sodhi.

Participants stressed the importance of booth-level voter mobilisation and suggested organizing coaching sessions for volunteers entering active politics. The meeting also approved the formation of a dedicated social media hub and the appointment of teams to strengthen digital outreach.

Community representatives further resolved to seek the intervention of Baba Major Singh Sodhi in resolving not only social, political, and religious matters but also family disputes within the community framework.

Speakers called for eliminating caste-based discrimination and divisive ideologies, encouraging unity and brotherhood. They also publicly appealed to all groups to refrain from personal attacks on social media.

Additionally, leaders proposed the early formation of a policy-making committee comprising intellectuals, administrative officers, and religious thinkers to guide the organization’s future strategy.

The meeting concluded with a collective pledge to strengthen social harmony, political representation, and community welfare across Punjab.
