The Punjab Government’s Tourism and Cultural Affairs Department is set to organize the three-day Rangla Punjab Festival 2026 from February 27 to March 1 at Ranjit Avenue Grounds in Amritsar.
The festival aims to showcase Punjab’s rich cultural heritage, traditions, lifestyle, and cuisine on a global platform. Deputy Commissioner Dalwinderjit Singh reviewed preparations for the mega event in a meeting attended by senior officials from various departments.
According to officials, the festival will celebrate Punjab, Punjabi language, and Punjabi identity through cultural performances, exhibitions, and entertainment programs. A vibrant craft bazaar will be set up where shopkeepers will display and sell traditional Punjabi handicrafts and other items.
A grand food court featuring 30 stalls will offer visitors a chance to taste authentic Punjabi delicacies. Various government departments will also install stalls to spread awareness about public welfare schemes.
Star-Studded Musical Evenings
Each evening of the festival will feature live performances by renowned Punjabi singers:
- February 27: Virasat Sandhu, Jaspinder Narula and Jazzy B
- February 28: Meet Kaur, Kaur B and Kulwinder Billa
- March 1: Harjit Harman, Baani Sandhu and Manmohan Waris
Apart from musical performances, visitors will enjoy traditional Giddha and Bhangra presentations highlighting Punjab’s vibrant folk culture.
The Deputy Commissioner confirmed that entry to the festival will be completely free for the public. Residents of Amritsar and people across Punjab have been invited to attend the festival and experience the spirit of Punjab from February 27 to March 1.
The Rangla Punjab Festival 2026 is expected to attract large crowds and further strengthen Amritsar’s position as a cultural and tourism hub in the state.
