Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav publicly addressed the media after being released on interim bail in a cheque bounce case. Accompanied by his legal team, the actor held a press conference where he shared his side of the story and explained how the dispute began and the circumstances that led to his brief jail term.
During the interaction, Rajpal Yadav stated that despite having several major projects in hand, he had to go through the legal process. Videos from the press conference have surfaced online, showing the actor discussing his upcoming ventures and financial plans.
He claimed that he currently has branding and business projects worth approximately ₹1200 crore. According to the actor, he has signed four major agreements, excluding films. Some projects are reportedly valued at ₹200 crore, while others are said to be as high as ₹2000 crore. Yadav clarified that in certain deals he is receiving a fixed fee, while in others he holds a profit-sharing stake. Additionally, he revealed that 10 films are currently in the pipeline.
The actor also spoke about the financial assistance he received over the past 20 days. Rajpal Yadav said that several supporters came forward to help him, including children who contributed from their savings. He claimed that nearly ₹1 crore was raised through social media support. Expressing gratitude, he said he plans to share the names of those who stood by him and intends to return the money respectfully by requesting their bank details.
In an emotional statement, Yadav said, “Live like a king, work like a laborer. A king remains a king whether in jail or outside. A king does not run or hide.” His remarks quickly gained traction online.
At the press conference, the actor also made allegations against lender Madhav Agarwal, claiming the case was pursued out of personal vendetta and that he had received threats. However, he emphasized that he trusts the judicial system and will present his case strongly in court.
Following his statements, the cheque bounce case has once again become a topic of public discussion, with attention now focused on the next phase of legal proceedings.
