Confirming the arrest, Aditya, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Gurdaspur, stated that Inderjit Singh was apprehended from Amritsar. According to the police investigation, the accused was directly involved in the conspiracy and had allegedly planned the murders along with the main accused.

Earlier, the police had arrested Dilawar Singh in connection with the case.
