Punjab NRI Helpline for UAE Stranded Families

Amid the escalating Iran-Israel conflict, several Punjabi families remain stranded in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) due to widespread flight cancellations and airspace disruptions.

Most of the affected individuals are tourists who had traveled to Gulf countries and other destinations but were unable to return after international flights were suspended. The crisis has caused growing anxiety among families awaiting their safe return.

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann stated that due to ongoing hostilities in the Arab region, many Punjabis are facing difficulties abroad. He assured that the Punjab Government has taken immediate steps to ensure the safe return of its residents.

The Chief Minister announced that the state government has activated its NRI Wing and released emergency helpline numbers for those stranded. He added that he is in direct contact with the Ministry of External Affairs to coordinate assistance.

Families or individuals currently stuck in the UAE are urged to immediately contact the Punjab NRI Wing through the following 24/7 control room numbers:

📞 0172-2260042
📞 0172-2260043
📱 WhatsApp: +91 94787 79112

The Punjab Government has assured that all necessary support will be provided at the earliest to facilitate safe evacuation and assistance.

With the Iran-Israel conflict impacting air travel across West Asia, authorities continue to monitor the situation closely to ensure the safety of Indian nationals abroad.
