Pratap Singh Bajwa Refuses Apology, Targets AAP Over Video Controversy

Bajwa Refuses Apology, Slams AAP Over Video Row

Punjab’s Leader of Opposition Pratap Singh Bajwa has strongly reacted to the controversy surrounding his recent statement, launching a sharp attack on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). Bajwa made it clear that he will not apologise under any circumstances and said that his legal team will respond to what he termed as misinformation being spread by AAP.

Clarifying the viral video, Bajwa stated that only a selective portion of his remarks was circulated to mislead the public. He said that in the full video, he had named several leaders including Arvind Kejriwal, Bhagwant Mann, Manish Sisodia, and Harbhajan Singh ETO, and not just one individual.

Bajwa explained that the Punjabi phrase “band vajana” is a commonly used expression. According to him, he meant that the current government has “ruined” Punjab’s treasury and that in the coming time, the people of Punjab will respond through their votes.

Accusing AAP of indulging in divisive politics, Bajwa alleged that the party is deliberately trying to create confusion and stir controversy. He asserted that he is not afraid of the situation and that his legal team will give an appropriate reply.

The political row has once again intensified tensions between the Congress and AAP in Punjab, with both sides exchanging sharp remarks.
