Narendra Modi on Sunday expressed pride over the success of the India AI Impact Summit, calling it a turning point in how the world will harness the power of Artificial Intelligence in the future.
Addressing the nation during his monthly radio programme Mann Ki Baat on Akashvani, the Prime Minister said that global leaders, top industry executives, innovators, and start-up representatives gathered at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi for the landmark summit.
PM Modi stated that he personally interacted with several world leaders and tech CEOs during the event and showcased India’s technological advancements at the AI Summit Exhibition.
Highlighting key attractions, the Prime Minister mentioned the booth of Amul, where AI-driven solutions for animal healthcare and dairy management were demonstrated. He explained how farmers are using 24×7 AI assistance to monitor livestock health and improve dairy productivity.
The Prime Minister also emphasized India’s cultural preservation efforts through AI. He noted that the ancient medical text Sushrut Samhita was displayed to show how technology is being used to restore and digitize invaluable manuscripts. The process included enhancing image quality, converting scripts into machine-readable text, enabling AI avatars to read the content, and translating it into Indian and foreign languages.
According to PM Modi, global leaders showed deep interest in exploring India’s ancient knowledge presented through modern AI tools.
He further noted that during the summit, India launched three Made-in-India AI models, demonstrating the country’s growing leadership in artificial intelligence. Calling it the largest AI summit ever organized, the Prime Minister congratulated citizens for contributing to the event’s success and reaffirmed India’s commitment to innovation and global technological advancement.
