Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a telephonic conversation with UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and conveyed advance Eid greetings while discussing the evolving situation in West Asia and regional security concerns.

During the conversation, Prime Minister Modi strongly condemned all attacks on the United Arab Emirates that resulted in the loss of innocent lives and damage to civilian infrastructure. He reiterated India’s firm stand against violence and emphasized the importance of peace and stability in the region.

Both leaders discussed the strategic significance of maintaining safe and free navigation through the Strait of Hormuz, a crucial global maritime trade route. They agreed that ensuring uninterrupted movement through the waterway remains essential for regional and international economic stability.

Prime Minister Modi stressed that India and the UAE will continue working closely to support efforts aimed at restoring peace, security, and stability in West Asia at the earliest.
