PM Modi Announces Six Guarantees Ahead of West Bengal Assembly Elections 2026

PM Modi Announces Six Guarantees for Bengal Polls 2026

Haldia, West Bengal: Ahead of the first phase of the 2026 West Bengal Assembly Elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi intensified the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) campaign momentum by announcing six key guarantees during a major rally in Haldia. The announcements have added fresh excitement to the political contest in the state.

Addressing a large gathering, Prime Minister Modi launched a sharp attack on the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC), accusing it of promoting “corruption” and “political intimidation.” He said the BJP aims to establish a governance model based on trust, accountability, and development if voted to power in West Bengal.

One of the major promises made by the Prime Minister was the implementation of the 7th Pay Commission for government employees if the BJP forms the state government — a move that could significantly impact lakhs of families across Bengal.

During his speech, Modi expressed gratitude for the affection shown by the people of Bengal and sought blessings from women voters, emphasizing respect and empowerment for mothers, sisters, and daughters.

PM Modi’s Six Guarantees for West Bengal

1. Trust Instead of Fear:
Modi alleged that the TMC government created an atmosphere of fear and promised that a BJP government would restore faith in governance and the rule of law.

2. Accountable Administration:
He assured that government systems would become accountable and focused on public service under BJP rule.

3. Reopening Old Cases:
All corruption cases, scams, and crimes against women would be reopened and investigated, he said.

4. Action Against Corruption:
According to Modi, anyone involved in corruption — regardless of position — would face legal consequences.

5. Rights for Refugees:
He promised constitutional rights for refugees while taking strict action against illegal infiltrators.

6. Implementation of 7th Pay Commission:
Government employees, teachers, and public servants would receive benefits under the 7th Pay Commission once BJP forms the government.

Calling on voters to participate actively in the upcoming polling scheduled for April 23, Modi urged supporters to ensure BJP’s victory at every booth. Reiterating his governance mantra, he said the party remains committed to “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas,” while also ensuring accountability for those accused of misusing public resources in the state.
