A shocking incident has come to light involving Punjabi Sufi singer Jyoti Nooran’s after a man allegedly loaded a pistol outside her residence in Vasant Kunj late at night, reportedly to create panic in the area.
According to reports, the individual arrived on an Activa scooter around 9:20 PM and was seen loading a pistol outside the singer’s house. The entire incident was captured on CCTV cameras installed outside the residence.
Fortunately, no one was present outside the house at the time of the incident, and no shots were fired. After loading the weapon, the suspect fled the scene on his scooter.
Police Investigation Underway
The matter has been reported to the police, and an investigation has been initiated. Station House Officer Rakesh Kumar confirmed that a complaint was received regarding a suspicious individual who came outside the house and loaded a pistol but did not fire.
Police teams are currently examining CCTV footage from the residence as well as nearby cameras in the area to identify and trace the accused. Authorities are probing the motive behind the act, which is suspected to have been carried out to spread fear.
Further investigation is ongoing, and officials are working to determine whether the incident was a threat attempt or a case of mischief.
