In view of the heavy rush during the Holi festival, Northern Railway has announced the operation of several holi special trains in addition to regular scheduled services to facilitate passengers.
A total of four special trains will operate from Amritsar, one from Ferozepur Cantonment, and two from Shri Vaishno Devi Katra.
List of Holi Special Trains and Timings
- Train No. 04610 (Amritsar–Mansi) – Departure: 20:10
- Train No. 04616 (Ferozepur–Danapur) – Departure: 12:00
- Train No. 04614 (Amritsar–Katihar) – Departure: 14:15
- Train No. 05006 (Amritsar–Badhni) – Departure: 12:45
- Train No. 05735 (Amritsar–Katihar) – Departure: 13:25
- Train No. 04082 (Shri Vaishno Devi Katra–New Delhi) – Departure: 21:20
- Train No. 04604 (Shri Vaishno Devi Katra–Varanasi) – Departure: 18:15
Additionally, the frequency of Train No. 04651/04652 (Amritsar–Jaynagar) Clone Express has been increased to ensure a smoother and more comfortable journey for passengers during the festive season.
Railway Officials Appeal for Patience
Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Sanjeev Kumar urged passengers to maintain discipline and patience during the travel rush. He assured that adequate arrangements have been made to handle the increased passenger load.
Railway authorities are continuously inspecting and reviewing passenger amenities to ensure safe and hassle-free travel during Holi.
With these additional services, Northern Railway aims to manage the festive rush efficiently and provide better connectivity across major destinations.
