Mukesh Ambani, Chairman and Managing Director of Reliance Industries Limited, along with his wife Nita Ambani and daughter Isha Ambani, hosted former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton at their Mumbai residence, marking an evening that celebrated art, culture, and global friendship.
The Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) shared on Instagram that the evening was a celebration of meaningful conversations and a shared passion for art and culture. Visuals from the event showed Hillary Clinton enjoying a sitar performance alongside Nita Ambani.
In a video from the gathering, Nita Ambani was heard saying, “Atithi Devo Bhava — for us, guests are like God,” as she welcomed Clinton and gave her a tour of the residence and temple. Both leaders were seen appreciating the musical performance and admiring Indian craftsmanship, including pink meenakari work and intricate sozni embroidery.
Earlier in the week, Hillary Clinton participated in the inaugural session of Mumbai Climate Week, where she praised India’s growing leadership role in tackling climate change. She highlighted that India is emerging as a key innovator and leader in climate action and stressed the urgent need for creative and collaborative models for adaptation and mitigation.
The high-profile visit underscored the strengthening cultural and diplomatic ties between India and the United States, blending business, diplomacy, and heritage in a unique setting.
