Massive Fire Destroys Samra Spare Parts Shop in Moga’s Bilaspur Village; Four Fire Tenders Battle Blaze for Four Hours

Moga: A ferocious fire broke out last night at the Samra Spare Parts shop in Bilaspur village, Moga, reportedly due to a short circuit. The blaze rapidly engulfed the entire stock, reducing goods worth lakhs to ashes.​

The fire was so intense that four to five fire brigade vehicles were deployed, taking four hours of relentless effort to bring it under control. Civil administration officials rushed to the scene, while villagers used improvised water tankers to assist in dousing the flames.​

Located in a densely populated area, the fire prompted residents to evacuate their homes. Adjacent Punjab and Sind Bank building suffered wall damage; bank staff used fire extinguishers to protect the ATM from the flames.
