Kullu: Residents of Patlikuhl in Kullu district are facing severe difficulties due to a shortage of gas cylinders. The situation has forced consumers to start queuing as early as 4 a.m., yet many are forced to wait for hours without receiving cylinders.
On Wednesday, long queues were witnessed even in heavy rain. Consumers, including women and senior citizens, were seen standing in wet and cold conditions while waiting for their turn, increasing their hardship.
Several residents reported that due to the limited number of cylinders available, many return empty-handed even after waiting for hours.
Local people have urged the authorities to ensure regular and sufficient gas cylinder supply, improve the distribution system, and implement an organized mechanism to avoid long queues, so that the public does not have to face such difficulties in the future.
