Kullu: In a significant success against drug trafficking, Kullu police conducted a major operation in the Manikarn area. On April 7, 2025, the Manikarn police team stopped a temporary number vehicle (T0326HR2227) near Shangna Bridge for inspection.
During the check, authorities recovered a total of 23 grams of heroin (chitta) from three young men and one woman hailing from Rohtak, Haryana.
Following the seizure, the police registered a case against all four under Sections 21, 25, and 29 of the NDPS Act at Manikarn Police Station. The suspects are currently being interrogated to uncover the source of the drugs, the supply chain, and the wider network involved.
Police officials confirmed that a detailed investigation is ongoing and assured that stringent actions against drug trafficking will continue in the region to maintain public safety.
