Khatri Sabha Mahila Mandal organized an awareness seminar titled “Strong Voice Against Social Evils” in Sri Amritsar Sahib, graced by chief guests from Patna—Khatri Maha Sabha National President and social worker Shri Anant Narayan Arora, along with his wife Smt. Ruchi Arora.
Seminar Highlights
Special guests included Matrimonial Committee Chairman Shri Sunil Khanna, Khatri Sabha Treasurer Shri Rakesh Seth, and social worker Gurpreet Singh, all honored during the event. The seminar was led by Mahila Mandal chief and Rashtrapati Award recipient Dr. Swaraj Grover, with other dignitaries like Dr. Prof. Sheli Jaggi, bank officer Smt. Saroj Chawla, Smt. Sonia Malhi, Prin. Monica Sheedhar present.
Key Speakers’ Messages
Anant Narayan Arora praised the Mahila Mandal’s social reform activities, calling evils like dowry, drugs, female feticide, superstition, illiteracy, and domestic violence a curse on the nation that must be eradicated nationally. Ruchi Arora echoed opposition to these vices, while Dr. Swaraj Grover labeled corruption, communalism, and human trafficking as stains on humanity. Other officials raised voices against untouchability, casteism, child labor, and similar issues, pledging collective action for eradication.
