Khalsa Vaheer Launched from Sri Akal Takht Sahib by Akali Dal Waris Punjab De

Khalsa Vaheer Begins from Sri Akal Takht Sahib

A grand religious procession, “Khalsa Vaheer,” was formally launched by Akali Dal Waris Punjab De after paying obeisance at Sri Akal Takht Sahib. The ceremony began under the spiritual guidance of Guru Granth Sahib and was marked by traditional Khalsa grandeur.

Member of Parliament Amritpal Singh’s father, Bapu Tarsem Singh, along with MP Sarbjit Singh Khalsa and several political and religious leaders, were present at the occasion. Hundreds of supporters and community representatives participated in the procession.

The Khalsa Vaheer featured a traditional order with the ceremonial nagara at the front, followed by the Panj Pyare, the palki of Guru Granth Sahib, and a long convoy of vehicles. From Sri Darbar Sahib to the Golden Gate in Amritsar, the atmosphere resonated with slogans of “Bole So Nihal” and “Raj Karega Khalsa.”

Addressing the media, Bapu Tarsem Singh stated that Punjab and its youth can only be safeguarded by following the path shown by the Sikh Gurus. He expressed concern that the state’s youth are increasingly affected by drug abuse, unemployment, and migration. The primary aim of the Khalsa Vaheer, he said, is to reconnect young people with Gurbani, Gurmat teachings, and the Khalsa way of life.

During the procession, issues such as Punjab’s water resources, religious freedom of shrines, the agrarian crisis, and the future of youth were highlighted through large display boards mounted on vehicles and trolleys.

Party leaders described the Khalsa Vaheer as more than a political event, calling it the beginning of Punjab’s spiritual and social resurgence. The organization appealed to Punjabis to join the movement for the prosperity of Punjab and the brighter future of its youth.
