Khalsa College of Nursing organized an oath-taking ceremony for the newly admitted students of ANM, GNM, and Basic B.Sc Nursing programs for the academic session 2025–26, marking the beginning of their professional journey in healthcare.
The event was graced by Dr. Bhuvnesh Shukla, Principal of the Government Nursing College, who attended as the chief guest. Addressing the budding nurses, he explained the significance of the ceremonial flame, describing it as a symbol that removes darkness, spreads hope, and inspires others through service and dedication.
Dr. Shukla encouraged students to dedicate themselves to the service of humanity and uphold the noble values of the nursing profession. Along with Principal Dr. Amanpreet Kaur, he administered the professional oath to the students, urging them to perform their duties with honesty, compassion, and commitment.
Students were also motivated to maintain passion and professionalism throughout their careers while serving patients and society with empathy and responsibility.
The organizing committee for the ceremony included Inosh, Dr. Monica Dogra, and co-organizer Gagandeep Kaur, who ensured the successful conduct of the event.
The ceremony highlighted the importance of ethical practice and human-centered care, reinforcing the core values of the nursing profession.
