‘Kaur to Khan’ Campaign Allegations Surface in UK, Claims of Grooming Gang Targeting Sikh Girls Emerge

‘Kaur to Khan’ Campaign Claims Spark Concern in UK

London: Allegations regarding a controversial campaign reportedly called “Kaur to Khan” have surfaced in the United Kingdom, triggering concern within sections of the Sikh community after claims circulated on social media about alleged grooming activities targeting Sikh girls.

According to a viral video shared online by a UK-based Punjabi individual, it has been claimed that certain grooming gangs are attempting to influence non-Muslim girls, particularly Sikh women, to convert to Islam through emotional manipulation and financial incentives. However, media outlets have clarified that these claims remain unverified and independent confirmation has not been established.

In the video, a woman alleges that individuals involved in such activities are reportedly offered financial rewards to persuade Sikh girls to convert. She claims that an amount of £10,000 is allegedly promised for converting a Sikh woman, while lower amounts are allegedly offered for girls belonging to other religious communities.

The woman further alleged that the accused groups follow a calculated strategy, initially building emotional relationships with targeted individuals. According to the claims, girls are reportedly approached at colleges, shopping malls, and public spaces, particularly those perceived as emotionally vulnerable or living away from their families for studies.

The video also claims that individuals allegedly present themselves as wealthy and liberal to gain trust, often taking victims to restaurants and social outings before gradually encouraging religious conversion. It is further alleged that emotional dependency is created over time, distancing individuals from their families and social support systems.

Some allegations also suggest that victims may face coercion through personal exploitation and blackmail. However, authorities have not officially confirmed these claims, and no verified investigation findings have been publicly released at this stage.

Experts advise caution while sharing unverified content online, emphasizing the importance of relying on confirmed information from law enforcement agencies and credible sources.

The issue has sparked debate on social media, with community members calling for awareness, verification of facts, and responsible reporting to prevent misinformation and communal tension.
