Amritsar, December 23 – Improvement Trust Amritsar Chairman and AAP in-charge for North Assembly constituency, Karmjeet Singh Rintu, inaugurated the construction of a Mohalla Clinic at Smile Enclave in Gram Panchayat Baba Deep Singh Ji. Rintu stated that the AAP government in Punjab is continuously expanding Mohalla Clinics, with nearly 915 now operational statewide.
He added that Amritsar district currently has over 77 such clinics, with plans to increase their number further, ensuring accessible healthcare for residents. Rintu emphasized that Mohalla Clinics play a crucial role in the health revolution, offering free testing for 40 types of tests and medicines, benefiting lakhs across the state.
Senior Deputy Mayor Priyanka Sharma and local dignitaries were present at the event.
