The Amritsar unit of the Indian Council of Astrological Sciences (ICAS) successfully organized the 138th Central Council Meeting along with a seminar on astrology on March 21–22, 2026, at Hotel Raj Continental, Amritsar.
The prestigious event witnessed participation from nearly 50 distinguished personalities and astrology experts from across India, who gathered to discuss the deep connections between astrology and contemporary global issues.
Expert Sessions and Key Discussions
During the seminar, four keynote lectures were delivered by senior ICAS office bearers covering diverse astrological and scientific perspectives.
Mrs. Gayatri Devi Vasudeva, Honorable Senior Vice President, delivered the opening lecture analyzing challenges faced by ISRO missions from the perspective of auspicious timing (muhurta) in astrology.
Mr. Navneet Kaushik, Honorable Acting National President and Controller of Examinations, presented a detailed lecture on “Various Dimensions of Mars,” exploring the planet’s multi-layered astrological influences.
The third session was conducted by Mr. Anil Kaushal, National Vice President (North Zone), who discussed astrological aspects related to self-acquired property and its planetary correlations.
Mr. Pradeep Gowda, Secretary of ICAS, delivered the fourth lecture offering an astrological perspective on global geopolitical equations involving the United States, Israel, and Iran.

The seminar served as an important platform for intellectual dialogue, encouraging scholarly discussions aimed at promoting the scientific study and practical application of astrology.
