Holy Heart Student Zorawar Singh Wins Speech Contest on Guru Teg Bahadur Ji’s Sacrifice, Secures State 1st Place

Amritsar – Bharat Vikas Parishad Amritsar Central organized a speech competition at Jagat Jyoti School premises to commemorate Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji’s supreme sacrifice, under the chairmanship of Prof. H.S. Walia. Chief guest and Jagat Jyoti School Director Mukesh Puri inaugurated the event, graced by AICC Punjab (North) General Secretary Ravinder Pathania.

Prof. Walia welcomed the dignitaries, stating the contest aimed to educate youth about Guru Ji’s great sacrifice, ideals, and humanity-loving spirit. Held in Punjabi and Hindi, Zorawar Singh from Holy Heart Presidency School clinched 1st in Punjabi and also topped the state-level competition. Second and third places went to DAV Public School and Jagat Jyoti School students. In Hindi, Soumya from Madhav Vidya Niketan took 1st, followed by DAV and Vivek Public School students.

Winners received trophies and medals from Mukesh Puri, Ravinder Pathania, H.S. Walia, and Secretary Surendra Kumar. Chief guest Mukesh Puri and judges Dr. Deepti and Prof. Poonam Kumari were honored with mementos.
