Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini Slams AAP, Congress During Amritsar Visit

Nayab Saini Targets AAP, Congress in Amritsar

Amritsar: Nayab Singh Saini, Chief Minister of Haryana, visited Amritsar on Saturday and paid obeisance to the sacred and historic land of the Gurus. He described his visit to the holy city as a matter of pride and honour.

Speaking to the media, Saini launched a sharp attack on the current Punjab government. He alleged that both the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the Indian National Congress have failed to fulfill the promises made to the people of Punjab.

He claimed that both parties only showed “big dreams” to gather votes and pushed Punjab behind in the race for development. According to him, no proper employment plan has been prepared for youth, nor have effective policies been implemented for farmers, women, and the economically weaker sections.

Corruption and Law & Order Concerns

Raising the issue of corruption, Saini stated that it has become difficult for common citizens to get work done in government offices without paying bribes. He further alleged that corruption under the current administration has surpassed even previous governments.

The Haryana Chief Minister also expressed concern over the rising drug menace in Punjab and questioned the state of women’s safety. His remarks have intensified the political debate between Haryana and Punjab leaderships.

The visit and statements are expected to further fuel political tensions in the region ahead of upcoming political developments.
