A grand farewell ceremony titled ‘Cheero’ was organized at the premises of Government Excellence College, Sanjauli, for graduating final-year undergraduate students. The event beautifully blended dignity, celebration, and emotional moments, making it a memorable occasion for students and faculty alike.
College Principal Prof. Bharti Bhagra attended the program as the chief guest. Addressing the gathering, she highlighted the importance of college life in shaping students’ personalities and futures. She emphasized that college years are not only about academic learning but also about personal growth and creating lifelong memories. Wishing the graduating students success, she encouraged them to continue learning and confidently face future challenges.
The ceremony featured vibrant cultural performances, where students captivated the audience with colorful folk dances and melodious musical presentations. Final-year students also shared their experiences on stage, reminiscing about their college journey and motivating juniors to make the most of campus life while nurturing their talents.
The highlight of the event was a modeling competition in which 65 students showcased their confidence, creativity, and personality. After a tough competition, Mohit was crowned Mr. Excellence, while Oshin won the title of Miss Excellence.
Other title winners included Krish as Mr. Runner-Up, Raunak as Miss Runner-Up, Swati as Miss Glamorous, Adarsh as Mr. Dressed to Kill, Harsh as Mr. Enchanter of Hearts, and Tamanna as Miss Captivator of Hearts.
The event concluded on an emotional yet hopeful note, combining farewell sentiments with optimism for a bright future ahead. The grand celebration reflected the strong bond between students and the institution while marking the beginning of a new chapter in the graduates’ lives.
