Extortion Threat to Parmish Verma’s Associate, Rs 10 Crore Demand Linked to Lawrence Bishnoi Gang

Rs 10 Crore Threat Call to Parmish Verma Associate

The series of threat calls targeting Punjabi singers and businessmen continues, with a fresh extortion case linked to popular Punjabi singer Parmish Verma.

According to sources, a business associate of Parmish Verma received a threatening phone call demanding Rs 10 crore. The caller allegedly claimed to be Harry Boxer, said to be associated with the gang of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.

The caller reportedly warned that if the ransom demand was not fulfilled, he would kill the associate, his partner, and their family members. The threat has raised serious concerns over the safety of Punjabi artists and their associates amid rising gangster activity in the state.

Based on a complaint filed by Harvinder Singh, the Punjab Police registered an FIR against an unidentified person at the Sarabha Nagar Police Station under relevant sections of the law.

Police officials have initiated an investigation and are working to trace the origin of the call. Security agencies are also reviewing potential links to organized crime networks operating from within and outside Punjab.

This latest incident adds to the growing list of extortion threats faced by Punjabi singers and businessmen, prompting renewed calls for stronger security measures and crackdown on gangster networks.
