Donald Trump Claims He Saved Pakistan PM Shahbaz Sharif During India-Pakistan Conflict

Trump Says He Saved Pakistan PM From Death

In a sensational claim during his State of the Union address, Donald Trump said that he saved Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif from death during heightened tensions between India and Pakistan.

Addressing lawmakers in Congress, Trump stated that his intervention prevented a potential nuclear confrontation between the two neighboring countries. He claimed that without his involvement, the Pakistan Prime Minister could have been killed during what he referred to as “Operation Sindoor.”

Trump said, “In my first 10 months, I ended eight wars. Pakistan and India were heading toward a nuclear war. If I had not intervened in that conflict, the Prime Minister of Pakistan would have died.”

The remarks came during Trump’s first State of the Union address of his second term as US President. He used the speech to highlight what he described as “historic changes” achieved within the first year of his leadership.

Taking credit once again for easing tensions between India and Pakistan, Trump reiterated that his diplomatic efforts helped prevent a large-scale conflict. He told Congress that the United States has witnessed “great transformation” under his leadership and emphasized that the country would not return to what he described as past failures.

Referring to America’s founding principles, Trump said, “From 1776 to today, every generation of Americans has stepped forward in pursuit of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Now it is our turn.”

His remarks about India-Pakistan relations and Operation Sindoor are likely to spark political debate internationally, especially given the sensitive nature of nuclear diplomacy in South Asia.
