A district-level Himachal Day celebration will be organized on April 15 at the Police Ground in Dharamshala. This information was shared by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Vinay Kumar during a meeting held to review preparations for the upcoming state function.
Chairing the meeting with officials from various departments, the ADC issued necessary directions to ensure the successful organization of the ceremony.
He informed that floral tributes will be paid at the Shaheed Memorial at 10:30 AM. Thereafter, at 11:02 AM, the chief guest will hoist the national flag at the Police Ground, inspect the parade, take the salute during the march past, and address the residents of the district.
The parade will feature contingents from the Police, Home Guards, NCC, NSS, and Scouts and Guides. Students from various educational institutions and cultural groups will present performances showcasing Himachali culture and patriotic themes.
ADC Vinay Kumar also stated that employees from different government departments who have delivered outstanding performance will be honored during the Himachal Day समारोह.
