Himachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri on Tuesday expressed deep condolences to bereaved families following the demise of two prominent local residents in Kullu district.
The Deputy Chief Minister visited Tegubehar village, the ancestral residence of Kullu Sadar MLA Sunder Singh Thakur, to offer condolences on the sudden demise of his father, Jog Dhyan Thakur (88). Extending his sympathies, Agnihotri said the passing away of Jog Dhyan Thakur is an irreparable loss not only for the family but also for the entire region.
He prayed for eternal peace for the departed soul and assured that the state government and the people of Himachal Pradesh stand firmly with the family during this difficult time. He also prayed for strength and courage for the bereaved family members to bear the loss.
Later, the Deputy Chief Minister visited Katrain to meet the family of Budhishwar Gaur (55), elder brother of Manali MLA Bhuvneshwar Gaur, who also passed away unexpectedly. Agnihotri met the grieving family members and paid floral tributes to the deceased.
Describing Budhishwar Gaur’s untimely demise as a significant loss for the region, the Deputy Chief Minister prayed for peace to the departed soul and strength for the family to overcome the grief.
