Former Chairman of the Amritsar Improvement Trust and senior Congress leader Dinesh Bassi visited the residence of Amritsar Mahila Congress President Shivani Sharma to persuade her following recent developments related to her resignation.
During the meeting, both leaders held an open and detailed discussion. The conversation mainly focused on the resignation submitted by Shivani Sharma amid recent dissatisfaction within the party. Dinesh Bassi listened carefully to her concerns and assured her that all issues and misunderstandings would be addressed seriously.
Speaking after the meeting, Dinesh Bassi described Shivani Sharma as a hardworking, honest, and dedicated leader. He stated that her contribution to the organization has been significant and that the Congress Party needs committed workers like her.
