A tragic road accident occurred in Akhnoor when a passenger bus overturned on a highway, resulting in the death of two people and leaving over 23 others injured.
According to reports, the bus was traveling from Jammu to Kortgarh village when the driver reportedly lost control, causing the vehicle to flip over on the highway. The sudden accident created panic in the area.
Emergency services rushed to the spot, and the injured were immediately taken to nearby hospitals for treatment. Among the injured, seven individuals are said to be in critical condition and have been referred to the Government Medical College in Jammu for advanced medical care.
Authorities have begun an investigation into the cause of the accident, while local administration is ensuring proper medical assistance to the victims.
