Budget 2026 Visionary and Relief-Oriented for Traders: Rajeev Bindal at BJP Vyapar Prakoshth Meet

Bindal Calls Budget 2026 Pro-Trader

A state-level meeting of the BJP Vyapar Prakoshth was successfully held at Parmar Palace, Nerchowk. The meeting was attended by Rajeev Bindal, President of the Bharatiya Janata Party Himachal Pradesh unit, as the chief guest.

Several senior leaders and office bearers, including Bihari Sharma, MLA Inder Singh Gandhi, Purushottam Guleria, Nihal Chand Sharma, Govind Thakur, Ashutosh Vaidya, and Rakesh Walia, were present at the meeting.

Budget 2026 Focused on Traders and MSMEs

Addressing party workers, Rajeev Bindal described Budget 2026 as visionary and relief-oriented for traders, small entrepreneurs, MSMEs, and the retail sector. He said the budget introduces measures to simplify the tax and compliance system, strengthen faceless assessment, accelerate refund processes, and extend deadlines for return revisions — all aimed at easing the burden on businesses.

He added that the GST process has been further simplified for small traders and MSMEs. The digital return system has been strengthened, and GST refunds are being made more automated to ensure faster processing.

Boost to Credit and Digital Trade

Bindal highlighted provisions such as enhanced credit guarantee cover for MSMEs, increased collateral-free loan limits, and additional working capital support. He noted that schemes like Mudra loans and fintech-based fast loan approvals would directly benefit the business community.

He also emphasized that traders are being encouraged to adopt digital platforms, digital billing, and accounting systems. Models such as the Open Digital Commerce Network are expected to create new opportunities for small and retail businesses.

Infrastructure Investment to Support Trade

According to Bindal, the Centre’s significant capital investment in roads, railways, logistics, warehousing, and mandi modernization will reduce supply chain costs and create new business opportunities.

He further stated that rationalization of customs duties and enhanced export credit support will strengthen traders in global markets.

During the meeting, leaders also resolved to expand the Vyapar Prakoshth, intensify outreach among traders, and ensure that the benefits of Budget 2026 reach the grassroots level.

BJP leadership reiterated that the trading community forms the backbone of the nation’s economy and assured continued efforts toward its empowerment.
