Birth Anniversary of Bibi Bhani Ji Celebrated at Gurdwara Manji Sahib

Sri Amritsar Sahib, February 17 – The birth anniversary of Bibi Bhani Ji, consort of the fourth Sikh Guru Guru Ram Das, was observed with great devotion at Gurdwara Sri Manji Sahib Diwan Hall, associated with Sri Darbar Sahib.

The event was organized by the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC). On this occasion, the bhog of Sri Akhand Path Sahib was performed. Following the bhog ceremony, Hazoori Ragi Bhai Jatinderpal Singh’s jatha from Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib recited Gurbani Kirtan. The Ardas was offered by Bhai Baljit Singh, and the holy Hukamnama was read to the congregation by Kathavachak Bhai Harmittar Singh.

During his discourse, Bhai Harmittar Singh elaborated on the life history and spiritual legacy of Bibi Bhani Ji. He highlighted that her entire life was dedicated to the teachings of the Guru and service to Sikhism. He urged Sikh women to draw inspiration from her life and actively connect their children with GurSikhi values.

Several dignitaries and SGPC officials, including Darbar Sahib Manager S. Bhagwant Singh Dhangera, S. Jaspal Singh Dhade, Additional Manager S. Bikramjit Singh Jhangi, S. Yuvraj Singh, S. Gurvinder Singh Devidas Pura, S. Jasbir Singh, and S. Gurtinderpal Singh Qadian, were present along with a large number of devotees.

The religious gathering reflected deep reverence and commitment among the Sangat towards preserving Sikh heritage and spiritual traditions.
