Punjab BJP leader Ashwani Sharma accuses Rahul Gandhi of using offensive language against Ravneet Singh Bittu, calling it proof of Congress mindset.
Punjab BJP working state president Ashwani Sharma has strongly criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over the use of alleged derogatory language against Union Minister of State for Railways Ravneet Singh Bittu, stating that it reflects the unchanged mindset of the Gandhi family and the Congress party.
In a post shared on social media, Sharma alleged that the thinking of Congress remains rooted in hatred, division, and an anti-Punjab approach, similar to what existed in 1984. He said that the seeds of hatred sown by Congress in the past are still visible today.
Ashwani Sharma stated that using such language against a Sikh leader representing Punjab and serving as a Union Minister exposes the real ideology of Congress. He accused the Gandhi family’s politics of inflicting only pain and wounds on Punjab since Independence.
Listing historical events, Sharma alleged that the partition of Punjab, the attack on Sri Akal Takht Sahib, the anti-Sikh riots of 1984, and now the insult of a Punjabi leader are clear examples of this mindset.
He further said that Punjabis and the Sikh community are not traitors but patriots who have led sacrifices on every front for the nation after Independence. Sharma added that it is because of the sacrifices made by Punjabis that the Gandhi family enjoyed power for decades, yet continues to use hateful language against Punjab and its people.
The BJP leader said such statements will not be forgotten and that the people of Punjab clearly understand who truly respects their sacrifices and identity.
