Karjat, Maharashtra: Reliance Industries Executive Director Anant Ambani celebrated his birthday today by engaging in social welfare activities in the tribal hamlet of Wanjarpada, Karjat Taluka. Accompanied by his wife Radhika Merchant Ambani, Ambani distributed essential items to local tribal residents, emphasizing his commitment to social responsibility.
The birthday celebrations began with home rituals, pooja, bhajans, and abhishek ceremonies at the Radha Meera Charitable Trust, including worship of Go Mata, 12 Jyotirling temples, Kali Mata, Durga Mata, and Ganpati. In a gesture of goodwill, Ambani and the trust distributed sweets, raincoats, umbrellas, and blankets to tribal families across six villages in the region.
Bharat Mehra, Chairman of the Radha Meera Charitable Trust, was present along with Ambani and praised the initiative for uplifting the underprivileged. The program also highlighted Ambani’s compassion for animals and humans alike, reinforcing the importance of community welfare.
In a parallel initiative, legislator Parag Shah organized a large-scale community meal program in the Ghatskopar area, providing free meals to approximately 12,000–15,000 residents across 20 locations. This initiative not only brought joy to needy citizens but also reinforced the ethos of social responsibility and philanthropy.
