Students Celebrate World Down Syndrome Day in Pinglawara

On the occasion of World Down Syndrome Day, students of Anand College of Nursing organized a special program for children residing in Pinglawara. The initiative focused on spending quality time with the children, spreading messages of love, support, and understanding.

During the program, students engaged the children with songs, dances, and games, while also raising awareness about Down Syndrome. The event aimed to foster inclusion and social awareness among the local community.

The program was appreciated by the college leadership, including Chairman Dr. M.M. Anand, Vice Chairman Dr. J.S. Dhillon, Managing Director Surya Prakash Anand, Campus Director Renu Thakur, Principal Rachna Kumari, Nursing Advisor Usha Sareen, and Vice Principal Ramanjeet Kaur Sohl. They encouraged students to continue participating in social service activities and contribute positively to society.

The event not only provided a joyful experience for the children but also reinforced the students’ commitment to community engagement and spreading awareness about special needs.
