New Delhi: Registration for the upcoming Amarnath Yatra 2026 will begin from April 15, allowing devotees across the country to enroll for the annual pilgrimage.
According to the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board, devotees can complete their registration through 554 designated bank branches nationwide. Based on successful registration, pilgrimage permits will be issued to eligible applicants.
Every year, lakhs of devotees undertake the sacred journey to pay obeisance to Baba Barfani at the holy Amarnath Cave Shrine in Jammu and Kashmir. Pilgrims from different parts of India travel to seek blessings and witness the naturally formed ice Shiva Lingam.
Authorities have assured that strict security arrangements will be in place along all routes of the Yatra to ensure the safety and smooth movement of pilgrims. The government is taking all necessary steps to prevent any untoward incidents during the pilgrimage.
Devotees have also been urged to strictly follow all safety guidelines and instructions issued by the administration during the Yatra.
The official dates for the commencement of the Amarnath Yatra will be announced soon. Pilgrims are advised to complete their registration process on time, as entries will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
