Amritsar: The Ashoka Senior Secondary School has delivered an outstanding academic performance in the Class 8 (Middle) Examination 2026, continuing its tradition of excellent results.
This year, two students from the school secured positions in the Punjab state merit list. Student Arshdeep Kaur achieved 97.9% marks, securing 13th rank in Punjab, while Vidhi scored 97.5% marks and secured 15th rank in the state.
The school achieved a 100% pass result, with all students passing in the first division. A total of 10 students scored above 90%, while 21 students secured 80% or above, earning positions in the merit scholarship category.
Top performers included Uma Kumari (95.5%), Kenjal (93.8%), Yashkiran (93.1%), Vinay Kapoor (91%), Nitish Kumar (91%), Simratpreet Kaur (90.6%), Danish (88.7%), Arpit Tandon (86.2%), and Krishna (85.7%), among others.
A felicitation ceremony was held in the school premises to honour meritorious students and scholarship achievers. Principal Sunaina and Director Sushil Aggarwal congratulated the students and their parents on their success.
They attributed the excellent results to the dedication of students, guidance from teachers, and strong support from parents, emphasizing the school’s commitment to quality education and academic excellence.
