Nalagarh (Solan): In a major breakthrough, police have arrested two main accused who were absconding in connection with the violent assault and firing incident that took place on February 17 in Nangal area of Nalagarh.
According to reports, on the day of the incident, the attackers first brutally assaulted two individuals and then opened fire on them, leaving both seriously injured. Pellets caused severe injuries, and the victims were immediately rushed to Nalagarh Hospital for treatment.
Following the incident, Himachal Pradesh Police registered a case and launched an investigation. In the initial action, two accused named Shubham and Dara were arrested, while the main accused managed to escape.
After continuous raids and sustained efforts, police finally succeeded in arresting the absconding accused. The arrested individuals have been identified as Parvinder alias Pindari, a resident of Anandpur Sahib, and Keshav alias Keshu, a resident of Bharatgarh.
SP Baddi Vinod Dhiman confirmed the arrests and said that intensive interrogation is underway. He added that further revelations are expected as the investigation progresses.
Police stated that this action has strengthened public trust in law enforcement and improved the sense of security in the region.
