Shimla: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has intensified its protests against the Indian National Congress government in Himachal Pradesh, alleging mismanagement and poor governance.
The BJP’s Shimla district unit staged a demonstration against the state government, accusing it of failing to deliver on promises made to the public. Party leaders claimed that the administration has been unjust toward citizens and is favoring only a select group of close associates.
Shimla district BJP leader Sanjay Sood alleged that the Congress-led government has completely failed to fulfill its commitments, resulting in worsening conditions across the state. He emphasized that the gap between promises and delivery has increased public distress.
Sood further announced that the BJP will intensify its agitation across the state. The party plans to hold protests in every assembly constituency to strongly raise public concerns and hold the government accountable.
He added that the BJP will continue to corner the government at multiple levels and expose its alleged wrong decisions before the public through sustained protests and campaigns.
Several BJP leaders and party office bearers, including Minority State President Gurmeet Singh, were present during the protest.
