Punjab politics is stirring as the next important cabinet meeting has been officially scheduled. According to government sources, the meeting will be held on April 11, 2026, at 3 PM at the Chief Minister’s residence, House No. 45, Sector-2, Chandigarh.
Administrative preparations for the meeting are already underway. As per the notification issued by the Department of General Administration’s Cabinet Affairs Wing, all ministers, including the Chief Minister, have been instructed to attend. Senior officials have also been directed to take necessary actions to ensure smooth proceedings.
Although the official agenda has not yet been released, political circles are abuzz with speculation that several major decisions could be taken. Discussions are expected to cover key state schemes, development projects, and administrative reforms.
Under the directives issued by Chief Secretary K. A. P. Sinha, all arrangements are being ensured well in advance. Various departments have been notified and assigned responsibilities to ensure the meeting runs efficiently. From the protocol department to the civil secretariat’s control room, all relevant offices have been put on alert, reflecting the government’s serious approach to this meeting.
