Mumbai: Reliance Industries Executive Director Anant Ambani has announced financial support for the Ganga Spine Injury Foundation (GSIF) to assist patients suffering from spinal injuries. The decision was made after learning about the crucial rehabilitation services provided by the foundation to help patients regain mobility and independence.
The contribution was pledged prior to Ambani’s birthday on April 10. GSIF expressed deep gratitude for his generous support. According to the foundation, Ambani’s donation will significantly benefit underprivileged and needy patients, providing them with free and comprehensive rehabilitation services for 50 days or more, based on individual recovery needs.
During the rehabilitation program, patients will receive a range of specialized services, including:
- Medical care and physiotherapy
- Occupational therapy
- Mobility and wheelchair training
- Bladder and bowel management
- Psychological counseling
- Nutritional support
- Functional and occupational rehabilitation
