Mandi: Governor Kavindr Gupta today visited the Drazer Complex of the Bhakra Beas Management Board in Sundernagar, Mandi district. During the visit, he was briefed about the board’s various activities and operational systems.
The Governor showed particular interest in the technical arrangements for water drainage and the management and disposal of silt, which are crucial for maintaining the efficiency and safety of reservoirs.
Engaging in detailed discussions with officials, he reviewed measures taken to ensure smooth water flow, effective silt management, and overall infrastructure maintenance. He appreciated the board’s efforts to adopt scientific and systematic approaches for addressing challenges related to silt accumulation and water management.
The visit was attended by the Governor’s Secretary Sandeep Bhardwaj, Mandi Deputy Commissioner Apoorv Devgan, Superintendent of Police Vinod Kumar, and senior officials of the board.
