In a recent meeting of the Defense People’s Rights Society, members unanimously decided to establish a Core Committee and a Disciplinary Committee to strengthen organizational functioning and ensure effective dispute resolution.
According to the decision taken during the meeting, the Core Committee will include office bearers of the society who are actively performing their assigned responsibilities. Initially, the committee will consist of nine members, with the provision to increase or reduce the number in the future based on organizational needs.
The society also announced the formation of a five-member Disciplinary Committee, which will serve as the most important decision-making body in matters related to internal disputes. Notably, no office bearer will be included in this committee to maintain neutrality and transparency.
The Disciplinary Committee will be formed from senior members of the society, and all selected members will be newly appointed. In case of any dispute within the organization, this committee will take the final decision and submit its official report accordingly.
The move is aimed at improving governance, maintaining discipline, and ensuring fair and transparent conflict resolution within the society.
