Budhlada: From Bathinda, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) MP Harsimrat Kaur Badal addressed the ‘Save Punjab Rally’, highlighting strong local support for her party. She noted that while all political parties unite to challenge SAD in Bathinda, the people of the constituency have consistently stood by them.
Harsimrat issued an open challenge, saying, “If anyone can prove a drug-related allegation against my brother, let them come forward.” She criticized previous governments for making baseless accusations against SAD but emphasized that Punjab’s development has largely progressed under S. Prakash Singh Badal’s leadership during the party’s tenure.
She added that false allegations had created doubts among voters in the past, causing temporary shifts in power, but the people continued to uphold the Akali Dal’s banner and remain supportive today.
The rally reinforced SAD’s strong grassroots presence in Bathinda and its ongoing commitment to Punjab’s political and developmental agenda.
