Hanuman Jayanti Celebrated at Amritsar Temple

Hanuman Jayanti was celebrated with great devotion and religious fervor at the historic Shri Panchayati Mandir Shri Raghunath Ji located at Chowk Fuhara in Amritsar on Thursday.

On the occasion, a grand decorative structure dedicated to Salasar Balaji was specially prepared, and 56 sacred offerings (Chhappan Bhog) were presented to Lord Hanuman. The offerings were later distributed among devotees as prasad.

Social worker and businessman Vipul Newatia Marwari, along with Trust Vice President Varun Newatia, informed that several members of the temple trust and community leaders participated in the religious event. Among those present were Temple Trust President Sunil Gupta, Senior Vice President Anand Kumar Bansal, General Secretary Sanjay Kejriwal, Harish Kejriwal, Sanjay Dhanuka, Manoj Agarwal, and Natkhat Seva Dal President Sudhir Sharma.

During the celebration, groups of women and men performed devotional hymns praising Lord Hanuman, creating a spiritual atmosphere at the temple premises. Singer Ashish Khatri and his musical group captivated devotees with soulful devotional performances dedicated to Lord Hanuman.

All religious rituals and ceremonial proceedings during the event were conducted by Shyam Pandit, ensuring the smooth organization of the celebrations.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from devotees, reflecting strong community spirit and deep religious faith on the auspicious occasion of Hanuman Jayanti.
