The political controversy surrounding Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha has intensified after the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) removed him from the position of Deputy Leader in the Rajya Sabha. The decision has sparked significant discussion in political circles and triggered a war of words within the party.
Following the party’s action, internal reactions began emerging, with senior AAP leaders Saurabh Bharadwaj and Anurag Dhanda raising questions over Chadha’s recent statements and political stance.
Soon after being removed from the post, Raghav Chadha shared two posts on social media. In his first video post, he highlighted questions he had raised in Parliament, seemingly defending his performance as a lawmaker. However, his reaction indicated clear dissatisfaction with the party’s decision.
In his second post, Chadha wrote, “I have been silenced, but I am not defeated — a message for the common people.” The statement quickly gained attention and further fueled political debate.
Reacting sharply, AAP leader Anurag Dhanda criticized Chadha, alleging that he had shown fear in recent years. Dhanda said that anyone who fears Prime Minister Narendra Modi cannot effectively fight for the country.
He also questioned Chadha’s conduct in Parliament, claiming that while party members staged walkouts in protest, Chadha remained seated, indirectly benefiting the ruling government’s proceedings.
The development has intensified internal political tensions within AAP and is being closely watched as the controversy continues to unfold.
