As part of an initiative to keep the environment clean and pollution-free, the Amritsar Police administration organized a tree plantation drive under its ongoing environmental campaign. Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP) Amandeep Kaur participated in the plantation activity organized by Friends Club Amritsar and the PFHR National Business Board.
Various types of saplings were planted during the drive in the presence of Friends Club President Ginni Bhatia and PFHR Hotel Association President Harinder Soni, along with members of their respective teams.
Speaking on the occasion, ADCP Amandeep Kaur said that the campaign, launched under the guidance of Amritsar Police Commissioner Gurpreet Singh Bhullar and supported by social organizations, aims to make the city greener and pollution-free. She emphasized that collective efforts from administrative bodies and social organizations can significantly improve the city’s environmental conditions.
Ginni Bhatia and her team extended full support to the initiative and appealed to other organizations to actively participate in tree plantation efforts initiated by Friends Club Amritsar and PFHR.
Bhatia also appreciated the efforts of the Amritsar Police Commissionerate for promoting environmental awareness and working toward a greener city. She added that joint efforts with ADCP Amandeep Kaur would continue to increase plantation activities to ensure a sustainable and eco-friendly environment.
He further acknowledged the role of ADCP Amandeep Kaur in improving traffic management in the city, which has provided significant relief to residents from traffic-related issues.
Among those present on the occasion were ACP Parmjeet Singh, Incharge Ram Davinder, Incharge Vikrant, Incharge Mangal Singh, Incharge Jaspal Singh Sandhu, Incharge Navreet Kaur, Sub-Inspector Daljit Singh, and other officials.
